Donna Lee Dickson was born in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia in May of 1951. Her family moved to Sarnia Ontario when she was a child but her connections with the west coast were strong and she continued to spend a part of most summers in B.C. during the years she was growing up. |

From 1990 to the summer of 2006, Donna lived on Hornby Island, in a community noted for it's many creative people. There she ran a very successful summer art gallery for many years. During this time she began spending the winters in various parts of Mexico and in the fall of 2005 she decided to move south with the intention of immersing herself in the culture of Mexico for some time to come. She now lives full time in the beautiful Spanish Colonial town of San Miguel de Allende and her current work is sold through Galeria 19, in Centro San Miguel.
